When it comes to porn, I'd like the server to receive as little data as possible about me or porn itself. Blossom doesn't help with this; it only makes it worse.

Right now, there's a similar situation with searching on Nostr, where the entire network knows everything you search for or have searched for, even those relays that don't support searching.
Blossom is also helps mass-distribute Child porn with 0 effort
There's absolutely no way Blossom is suitable for porn. Quite the opposite.

By design, there's no intention to leave fewer traces or make blocking more difficult. It's more suitable for resumes or funny cats, and that's it.

What do you mean? Blossom can mirror and distribute porn in a decentralized and load-balanced way easily. Did you even use it yet?

What does that mean? Unless you white list only, anyone can upload

Blocking porn with Blossom across the entire network is even easier than without Blossom.
Pornhub can just run their own relay and host porn there and who likes it will just join .
Also, I didn’t know that whatever I search on here is being tracked 🧐
Another reason not to add unreliable servers to the relay list.

Amethyst currently has separate settings for search (and damn drafts), and it's crucial to fill them out; otherwise, Amethyst will spam requests to all relays.
 Who is tracking your searches?
All your search queries are sent to the entire list of relays, and there's no guarantee they aren't sent to relays outside this list. Basically, anyone can track your search.
Seems like an opportunity for proxies, one time pads or multiple addresses like for BTC transactions, or something.
There are a lot of ideas on how to make search private, but no one needs it yet. We basically have almost no search right now 😂 So we don't need to complicate it in any way.
Search on damus is private and does not contact relays.
