I feel like living in high humidity has helped me a ton, when I start getting itchy and dry in winter, I use my beeswax lotion bar the cheese got me ages ago. I think I generally have great skin unless I'm having an I ate shit food or my hormones be cray cray day. But I rarely wear makeup and generally eat not shit food. What do you recommend for a good moisturizer skincare queen?
So it totally depends on skin type and like you mentioned, environment can alter skin type. I am very dry and sensitive, but I live in a super dry environment. I’m also eczema prone so I have to be extra cautious. Moisturizer picks for me are really thick and creamy and will have hydrators (glycerin/hyaluronic acid/panthenol) and also emollients like sqaulane or jojoba oil and shea butter. This is my favorite no bullshit moisturizer, but I’m so dry, I slather shea butter or jojoba on top: https://i.nostr.build/SPrxMjvu9cJkjwQK.jpg
Yeah, that sounds like a winter only thing for me 😂. I feel like I turn into a dried up husk under about 75% humidity, so this might be a good tool to combat that, but I'd be a greasy teenager-y mess most of the time, lol. But I'm also going for that leathery out in the sun all the time old lady look in my near future 👀👵...
