Here’s what you’re missing: there are people who are crazy enough to never go back to using a company controlled social media platform. There will always be shit posters of last resort.
I’m 100% certain that if it dies out, it won’t be because people trust Twitter again. Either something significantly better will be created, or Nostr will continue to succeed for people who understand its value.

But if you want to move the goal post, Nostr has been by far the most useful social network that I’ve been a part of due to its unique benefits (lightning payments) and culture.
