Purely anecdotal, but really seen a lot of non-posting as of a few years. The posting frenzy on Instagram ended years ago. People will post to promote an occasional creative project, repost a political infographic, maybe a significant celebration. But it's mostly a smattering of Posters still going

I've seen a lot of users deleting all their pictures or just having minimalist profil on insta and occasionally post stories, but they lurk a lot, every day.
A lingering 'what to do with my hands and phone'. Kyc and a fidget spinner revival will kill social media.
That's my prediction:)
Kyc to just lurk social media. I don't think any of these companies are stupid enough to do that. Sadly.
