 ✅ Day 34 will keep going! #100aDayTil100k 
 I’ve done 3,400 pushups the last 34 days. I’m overweight and getting older each day. 
Back on day 3, I over worked myself trying to do pushups like I had done them ‘back in the day.’  I took the day off because my body said no. I made up for that day by doing a few more pushups a few days later and modifying HOW I was doing my pushups; off countertops, desks, tailgates, walls. Additionally, I would vary the wide, narrow, and normal arm stance and do slow and ultra slow speeds. 
Yesterday, I listened to @jackspirko on #TheSurvivalPodcast episode 3455 “freedom from fatness” and remembered his note from a few days ago warning the people doing the #100aDayTil100k and #100aDayUntil100k about injuries from doing the repetitive movements day after day. 
Today, I’ve decided to modify this challenge again.  I’m adding 100 squats, 100-200 lunges, and 100 sit-ups to the mix. I hope this prevents injury and allows my body to repair itself.  I know this is working for me because I’ve lost more weight in the last 34 days than the past 6 years.  
✅ Day 35 done! 100 squats and I’m walking sore.

 ✅ Day 38 did 120 sit-ups in various styles! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 39 - 100 squats today for #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 40 - for the first time in probably decades I did 100 pushups on the floor. 25-25-25-25 not my best form but I got it done for #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 41 and 120 crunches for my #100aDayTil100k is done. 
 ✅ Day 42 done! 100+ squats on my BFF 42 Birthday! #42 #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 43 and you can count on 100 pushups getting done. #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 44 - leg day! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 45 was sit-ups. 
 ✅ Day 46 was squats - #100aDayTil100k non-stop 
 ❌ Day 47 I only got 25 pushups done and then life got in the way. I’ll make the pushups up later this week because I said I would do #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ 75 pushups done to make up for day 47! Body has been feeling it this week and I’ve had to lay off the squats. I don’t think I was using the best form and I occasionally feel sharp pain from my knee. Gonna let it rest and stretch more. #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 48 and I got well over a 100 sit-ups done for #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 49 - I did 100 pushups! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 50 and I struggled to get motivated. Just wasn’t feeling the best but got 100 sit-ups done as my leg was giving me sharp pain and my shoulders are tired from hulling kids. Got some nice walks in but hoping this cough doesn’t become more serious. #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 51 and I did 100 pushups even tho I don’t feel good. #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 52: Sit-up day for #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 53: shoulder and knee still wasn’t feeling 💯 so I did another 100 sit-ups. #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 54: push ups! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 55: sit-ups x100! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 56: started doing pushups and my shoulder popped. I stopped and did 100 sit ups. #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 57: 100 pushups DONE! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 58: 100 sit-ups! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 59: 100 more sit-ups done yesterday but I forgot to post. #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 60: 100 pushups as I visit family! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 61: 100 sit-ups are smashed into a busy day! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 62: 100 pushups and an extra 25 just in case I miscounted for #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 63: all the sit-ups x100 for #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 64: 100 more sit-ups! #100aDayTil100k 
 ✅ Day 65: 100 pushups - it still hurts everyday but I’m getting stronger and healthier. #100aDayTil100k
