Yup, onboarded my brother (he was using alby custodially) and haven't heard of any issues. I'm also the type to just run another WoT realy if I was onboarding him to Nostr (he's already on and hasn't asked for this, yet). 

 So, is your brother using your Node even today? 

Can he receive sats and zap just fine? 

 Yes to all of the above. No lightning address unless he attaches it to alby account which he hasn't yet
