i've booked myself for what might be my best dinner yet since coming to #madeira

i am having 1kg of #goat thigh, diced up in standard "#espetada madeirense" style (normally they use beef/veal but this will be goat leg) and salad for dinner this evening

almost forgot... i ate such a big breakfast... meh, anyway, it's not gonna hurt, and i'll be ready for it by then anyway... 7 hours time i'll be ready
Sounds like enough for all of us... Heading that way now...
well, just keep in mind that this is fresh slaughtered goat (was killed and skinned yesterday) and when you spit roast stuff it loses about half it's weight, so, idk how you measure that exactly

i forgot exactly how much i've had on a skewer on the two times i've had it before... it's about like 10 chunks of meat about the size of a child's fist, i think it's between 500-1000g of meat, i seem to recall that when we ordered it it was 1kg in the Talho (butcher) downstairs

i always find it comical when i start talking about cuts of meat and comparing it to human body parts and i'm like WOAH WOAH NOT LONG PORK lol
Ok, that's less than I thought. 1000g sounds like a lot tho. I guess it's like satoshis. one has to remember it's a very small measuremen. Otherwise I think I'm a big shot slinging thousands of satoshis around
 1000g is a bit over 2 pounds
meh. idk why i bother with that guy he never listens, i said "leg" and i get all there random bits, not a proper espetada

he's one of the reasons why i would like to go live somewhere else on the island, i guess i just gotta start looking daily to see what is on idealista, things move fast, and i can jump on anything they are fine with me starting sometime in december
