The feeling of needing to belong is part of the human condition. It's realizing that you don't NEED to belong to be accepted that is freeing. I've always told my kids that there is no such thing as normal because my normal and your normal and someone else's normal might be three different things. Learning to accept these differences as necessary in life is paramount. This is where we learn that belonging and being accepted are not the same. This is where we learn to be comfortable with our own company. When people see that you are happy and content to be yourself and be by yourself, they get curious. They want to know what you know. Don't apologize for being human, friend. We all are. Just be the best human you can.

I speak from experience. I spent so much of my younger years trying to fit into a box that I didn't realize that the box was a prison I was building for myself. It takes time and I'm not fully there yet, but you get comfortable with yourself. 🫂🫂

Some days I don’t mind but it’s so confusing sometimes 🙏🏽 I relate completely 🙏🏽when I was in secondary school/high school I tried to fit in for a minute, but didn’t like the way it made me feel to suppress my personality. Stopped doing that straight and ended up alone for most of those school years but felt good knowing I was still me ♥️🥹 still catch myself caring about belonging though 🙈 will work on it too 🥹🫂🫂🫂

Amazing does not always “fit in” people that have a deep interpersonal life will always have a feeling of not being accepted or not being seen, some time feeling like others don’t love you like you love them. This is why creativity to express your seeping feelings like art or poetry is very helpful. I see you kid you just need to find who accepts you for who you are and be there.
