If anyone cares to help out, Your amazing. Long story short; She left me after the kid was born for a junkie that ODed and its been guy after guy since and withheld access to my child from me basically the whole time. I really have a kid out here I dont even know. 😭 All I know to this day is they are somewhere in battle creek mi, from my son himself, but it appears she has taken that from him as he stopped posting and replying to messages 2 days into talking for the 1st time. As I can't even find her or him again on FB, so she must have me blocked on her and his profile. Ugh. Really wish I could afford a good lawyer... 🥺 https://image.nostr.build/0cc62cb5ced70e841624d962e344b013e44a3214f2491473201f8baba3ae1eee.jpg
I have a similar situation. My question is will lawyers help? The system is designed to destroy family! Not do what is right. It is not broken but it is built this way.
If you have a child support bill you can pay it in the manner I described above
So because this notice of arrearage provides a detailed breakdown of the charges and the total amount due, it is essentially functioning as a bill? Even though it's technically not a bill, it's effectively serving the same purpose by requesting payment for specific services or goods?
It does say: 3: within 21 days after you get this notice, you must pay all the support you owe. If you cannot pay all your debt now (insert court contact info)
Exactly - a bill is an unconditional demand for payment. Also known as an order. You can find the definitions for "order" in UCC article 3, which is the bible of our currency system's operation. You have in your hands a bill, and a bill is a negotiable instrument just like the dollars in your pocket - that's right, you have currency in your hand, and you can and should use it to pay that obligation by negotiating it with a special indorsement how I described, without recourse. This settles your legal obligation
I was sent 2 of these... send them both in as stated above?
And what legal actions can the friend of the court take upon receiving this certified mail?
I would send both in. You are owed a refund for overpayments 😉

Is that a child support bill?
Basically.
Write on the front side: ACCEPTED Flip it over write on the back side on a spot with adequate white space: WITHOUT RECOURSE PAY TO THE ORDER OF NOSTRANAUT (<-Your legal name in all caps) By: Nostronaut, agent (<-your "living man" first and last name using lower case letters and only first letter captialized) You just did a special indorsement on the bill pursuant to UCC 3-205, and the bill is a negotiable instrument worth its face value pursuant to UCC 3-104. Scan the front and back of the bill and save it on your computer. Now you "negotiate" that indorsed bill by tendering it as payment via USPS certified Mail with a green return receipt to the court or wherever it asks for payments to go on the bill. Scan and save the certified mail receipts and the return receipt once it arrives to you later. You just paid/performed on the bill in full, and any attempt to sue you for the amount is defendable using UCC 3-603(b) and the evidence you saved as exhibits. Don't be scared because if it is a court receiving your bill they should know it is a lawful payment and your obligation is discharged completely. Here's an example of the special indorsement https://image.nostr.build/6a50faf9b924582c77926bc3f231f9eb0dbfef52c7b3d458144505dc650c2bfa.jpg
And celebrate your negotiable instrument payment by stacking some sats with your currency instead
None of this should be construed as discharging your moral obligation to support your child, mind you. This is just a legal, lawful payment so courts can't put you in prison. Keep trying to get in contact with your baby mother and child, and be a part of your child's life and support them, of course. Cheers
