 Not that difficult really. 
Hardest parts are keeping everything sterile so it doesn’t get infected and have a constant temperature controlled environment so the yeast can doesn’t give nasty flavours.
It’s a fun hobby that when you do it right you trap good tasting rewards.
It’s my real life proof of work.
