@4be4a2be I respectively disagree. I find the subscription model allows me to check out an app for a month or two and then decide if it will be of actual use or value. If not, I’ll unsubscribe. I think I’d be less willing to try apps out if I had to pay a higher price up front.

If an app proves of value I’ve got no problem continuing the subscription payout.
@edc128e6 oh for sure! I find the subscription model neat for a lot of use cases. I guess for large games like this, the free to download and play a level + $60 seems fair.

I’m not against subscriptions, just wish there were more balance or both options. Purchase ones, upgrades for a year then stuck on last updated version. (Just thinking out loud haha)
@4be4a2be Gotcha. I’m not a gamer any longer and totally unfamiliar with that market. I don’t have a problem with a title costing more than what most are used to on the App Store. I’m not a fan of the IAP system though. Rather see fixed prices or subscription. “Free to download” is problematic for too many consumers.
@edc128e6 I agree. Case in point: I got Final Cut Pro for iPad because I wanted to learn how to use it and see if it will be something I’d use. If I had to buy it for $99 (or more), no way I’d do that.
