It’s possible that they feel the need to engage with non Bitcoiners to try to get the Orange Pill messege through to them. But sadly the more likely answer is they aren’t as hard core as we may perceive them as. 

 I am not sure how hardcore bitcoiners on nostr are either. For example, a good number of them love their KYC apps.
