 Network is people who people you follow follow, if that makes sense. So people two hops away

One quick suggestion would be to add a feed with people up to 3 hops away. Let's call this graph S.

S is very big, so it needs some prioritisation like: take the 300 people in (S - who you follow) that have the highest pagerank in S.
