Agreed, gotta be prepared for if and when. I am right with you though generally Ken. It’s often hard to get people onboarded and understand stuff until it’s too late. I hope not for many of my loved ones. Like Sergio said we just have to be there for when they are ready.

So, don’t do this… In 2021 I got my mom to buy $1,000 of USDC and transfer it to Celsius for the “yield”. She understood the concept of USDC but was unwilling to buy Bitcoin. Then Celsius went into chapter 11 bankruptcy and I felt and still feel like a total fool. 🤦🏻♂️ Fkn idiot! Ironically, mom got $800 of #Bitcoin back in the bankruptcy settlement at the $42k price and she is now has $1100 of #Bitcoin indirectly I got my mom into #Bitcoin, but I’m an idiot for life
Oh shit. That’s my biggest fear. I got my father in law to pop for $2000 at the highest point in the last bull market. He still has his sats on Coinbase and he asks me from time to time when Bitcoin is going to go to the moon. The problem now is I feel / they make me feel responsible for the price. The problem is they still don’t get BTC if they are so focused on their monitory return. I can lead people to water but I can’t make them drink.
Never give up on those close to you. If you are willing to sacrifice social capital, memes are legitimately the best avenue I've found. Repetition and humor are great ways to get through to people. But if the subject has been worn thin, just being supportive and being there for others is great too. Lead by example and show them your values through your actions. They will notice and eventually they will want to copy you.
