most of the meatspace people get scared at the private key part, although it's getting a lot easier, and the ones I had onboarded sometime earlier who had only casually browsed through nostr at the time are actually getting good at private key management now, it's intuitive for them, even from non technical backgrounds. I think there's a learning curve, but the reward is worth it for people that try.
I'm usually good at this thing but only got 2 of them to seriously try and fully setup an npub profile. I dont think they ever logged in again more than once. complete failure.
