It's the same under my roof. Certain spots on the couch are no longer for us to use without attitude, and even then said dog will sit and stare at you til you move. 

Certain pillows are squished beyond recognition. Memory foam, you say? Yup, those pillows remember the dog's shape. Not ours. 

This is fine. Everything's fine. Wouldn't have it any other way.

They make life more interesting. One door frame became a scratching post, I replaced it when they got to the nails.
