@6b8a25fc @7dca5aa2 so the last time I was looking for a job I had a theory that companies were falsely posting jobs.
I think it has to do with internal budgets.
I think they post jobs with no intention of hiring externally. And then it shows that on the books that they have openings and they save money because they allocate more money to βnew hiresβ vs βinternal transfersβ or whatever.
This is just what Iβve noticed from the two fairly large companies Iβve been with.

Iβve also noticed that if I applied as βmixed raceβ I was more likely to get calls from recruiters.
