I recently heard Pen and Teller basically apologize for appearing on "The Apprentice." That was refreshing. Their act has often been about unmasking humbugs, charlatans.  "The Apprentice" was also a kind of humbug as much as any seller of snake oil.  

But it was just a show, right, who cares if we pretend this guy is successful and wealthy because he's "good at making deals" No one really believes--
