Israel won't attack Turkey but you do make a good point - Turkey doesn't belong in NATO

if Israel attacked Turkey it would be like USS Liberty all over again - the media would pretend it didn't happen 

and if Turkey attacked Israel pretty sure that would be reason enough for it to get expelled from NATO whether a mechanism exists or not

these organizations are only as good as political will backing them
