Forcing myself to eat more organ meat. I can’t in good conscience waste the most nutritious parts of animals anymore. I do not like the taste, but I feel great after eating them, and my tongue is just gonna have to accept it. If people have good recipes, I’m all ears. #foodstr
 Beef liver?
Been eating it all. Had some chicken organ meat tonight in butter, shallots, and seasoning. I choked it down.
Had a seafood gumbo with chicken gizzards a few week back. In one emoji

🤤
 Not sure I’ve eaten gizzards.
 Three words:
Fried
Chicken
Livers
Breaded? I’ll use an egg wash and pork panko.
 What kinds of organs ?
All of them. Getting 3 whole animals this year.
Chicken gizzards count? Chicken heart? Beef heart? Duck liver? Beef tripe?
 Yeah, all of the above.
I toss my beef liver with bacon and onions and love it personally. Salt and pepper and whatever other spices you enjoy
Cook the bacon and onions first, or all at the same time?
Chopped Bacon on a cool skillet to start. Heat slowly to render the fat. Cook onions and garlic then flash fry the beef liver. Still has a texture that takes getting used to. But flavor is good.
Ty sir. Basically what I did tonight but with a shallot and butter.

You can find chicken livers pretty cheap from solid sources around here.
Got some from a farm out in Barrington this weekend. Made the chickens for dinner and they came with all the organs inside.
You can do the intestines at the barbecue, they are good. In Argentina they are called "chinchulines"
