Ser, c’mon… Everyone has different crises responses. Fight, flight, freeze, fawn, or even indifferent. I guess I could agree that a big middle bell curve chunk goes into panic survival mode but there’s definitely people that exist who don’t need to. I’m pretty sure Trump’s dad abused him so that may loosely track with not needing to panic.
That’s true and I get what you’re saying but generally speaking it’s fight or flight. I could be wrong but it just seems too convenient.
And as a psychologist I’d have to say that being abused doesn’t change your fear of death. If anything, it’s more likely to amplify it and keep you anxious and on edge. A lot of children that are abused grow up with some form of ptsd. Think of war veterans that have ptsd. They struggle to stay calm and immediately jump into fight or flight.
Fair psychological point. I was thinking narrow in the frame of he’s used to being immersed in violence or the threat of violence. But just speculation 🤷🏻
I’m just really trying not to jump to any conclusions too fast
Fist pumping is fight or flight. It’s the expression of the “fight” reaction without the enemy directly present. I’ll also add that he seems to think he’s in the clear, which would probably be a crazy adrenaline high considering there was just an attempt made on his life.
Just my interpretation.
