 @d86237d2 ugh! It’s such a pet peeve of mine when neighbors don’t just, you know like, talk? Or take a few minutes out of their days to walk over.

 @d9d80542 This is a neighbor my sweetie would rather not talk to, but I’m fine dealing with the neighbor. Heck, I pretty much get along with all the neighbors, or can at least smile and wave as we pass the ones we don’t like (decades of Minnesota Nice training). But yeah. I delivered mail to 4 houses tonight (counting our own, too). Took me a grand total of 10 minutes, plus I got to solve a mystery and *maybe* convince a neighbor to do the right thing in the future.

 @d9d80542 To be fair, it’s the biggest route out of the post office he works, even after they turned two routes (one of which our previous guy worked, and did 3 years of 12 hour days beginning in early 2020) into three routes. But thanks to mandates from DC (why hasn’t DeJoy been fired yet?) the postmaster says he can’t do much better.
