#Nostr will end up just fine… I’m afraid this is a prevailing attitude on nostr I’m here to combat this and I do love nostr, but not this type of user attitude. Agree to disagree, but I don’t think this type of approach ends well for a protocol that had the original ethos of being different and better than other social media with the spirit of pura vida and all are welcome 🤷🏼♂️ nostr:note1guzmaugfsdhp5rf3jvvsp695n06cek74ppcg0vj5kk6y8crwd0yql29pxr
At least people are identifying themselves as profiles not worth following. Makes it very easy.
I agree with brother Trey. Welcome welcome! Come one come all!
Gooooooooood. Moaaaaaaaar. Fight. Fight. I feel your fear & anger. Goooooooood. I want to burn the whole thing to the ground. Including Nostr. What is strong enough to survive wins. Hard times create strong protocols. 💪 https://image.nostr.build/c6e9ddeb3a89eae6ec8b2cf12a6cdd6fe40b6182e98d49f34ed4133bb2c963b9.jpg
I agree tge aditude isnt ideal but I use mute all the time. The only person that should be censoring what I see is me.
I largely agree with using mute. I’d be hesitant to try to impose censorship tools etc on nostr, of course. This is more of my individual ethical and moral take coming into nostr, not a dictation or protocol level arrangement.
Yeah I get it. The real innovation is that were using a protocol and not a platform to have this convention. So, highlighting the difference for new users and letting them know that they need to use the mute function may need to be in more of our onboarding communication.
Onboarding? Nobody onboarded me. I sent a DM to myself thinking it was my first Nostr post. Hand holding is for children & the elderly.
Just like #bitcoin , #nostr is for everyone. Your friends as well as your enemies. 🤙
