whats are the dangers of a minority soft fork?

i get theres additional complexity and the possibility of unintentional chain splits.
but it still a minority right?

so except for being unintentional and confusing for everyone (and implementation bugs security risks blah blah)
what are the dangers?

 Probably, it was only a couple weeks or less ago. Whatever Matt's show is.  

 I tuned out of Matt's show when it became all about LN and nostr development.

 Yeah, I don't have long historical reference for the show. I've just been tuning to a few episodes with attempts to try and understand different aspects and get a better whole systems view of this world, which small exposures to topics like the one I referenced help with.  

 Its a good show. I suggest going back and listening to some of the early episodes.
