I’m curious about how the bugs affect your body. I’m a massive proponent of an animal based diet. I tell all my clients to skip getting a massage from me and instead buy some good quality meat and eggs. That said, is it true to say that our hunter gatherer ancestors never ate bugs out of necessity? I’d rather fast than eat bugs but you can only do that so long before your body starts breaking down. Since 99% of plants are poisonous a cricket might just be more appealing than a leaf on a tree in a desperate situation. I’m very curious how you’d feel eating animal based but also included crickets.
I’m also big on animal-based eating, but I never really thought about bugs fitting into that. Our ancestors probably ate what was around, so bugs might’ve been on the menu when needed. It’s true, plants can be tricky. Crickets don’t sound so bad if it’s between that and something harmful. I’m curious too about how they’d fit with a mostly meat diet.
Thank you for encouraging and contributing to a little nuance in this discussion. Some comments on this videos seem to miss the whole point lol
I am glad that people like you are willing to put yourself out there so we can gain knowledge from your experiments. To be honest, I believe that eating bugs probably isn’t going to be the best for someone’s health, however, i’m willing to open my mind to the possibilities. And even if it’s less than ideal, it might be a close second if that’s the best you can find. Looking forward to seeing updates from you in the future.
