 Another DEX, another disappointment.

I decided to download RoboSats and give it a try to see if it would be something I could use to buy some Bitcoin. Unfortunately, it falls victim to the exact same issues that every other DEX falls victim to.

I think it's safe to say I'm just going to give up on this for now until we get a better way of buying Bitcoin that doesn't require KYC or unfeasible methods through a DEX.

Let's hope this presidential election leads to easier ways to do that.
 What issues?
In this particular instance, it's that none of the offers are viable. Either they're expecting a minimum of $150 or so, or they're expecting you to use a specific payment method that I am not comfortable with using.
If non of your criteria matches a offer, sure, that's not good.
You could try and create a own buy order and see if it gets fulfilled
I'm not sure how to set up that sort of offer, and I'm unsure if it's a good idea for a first-timer, is it?
It isn't very complicated. You just have to choose if you want to buy or sell, your payment method and the trade amount. In the advanced settings you could set a trade range or a higher percentage for the collateral.
I'm pretty sure btc sessions has a tutorial for robosats
I like xapo but very expensive. Based in a tax haven. A lot more red tape to get access to my info. Fully supports Bitcoin and lightning. Finally a Bitcoin bank that has not betrayed me so far.

Really good service too. Hands down best neobank as well.
What's with the escrow? You have to lock it before you can publish your order. Therefore a LN invoice QR code will be presented, pay it with a compatible wallet and you're good.

I'll see if it works for me. Not getting my hopes up though. I'm sick of having failures in this space.
