The #Tories can be simply understood by focussing on their view of #luck: No-one has good luck, so the wealthy are being rewarded for their efforts, and the poor are victims of their own lack of effort. But, when bad luck manifests, the poor have brought it upon themselves & should not be compensated, but the rich have been caught our by a 'act of god' & should receive some form of damages. So, ask someone what they think about bad luck & its consequences and you'll know who they are!
@43d7c4ea It’s an exercise in moralistically “othering” everyone not in the “in-group”, to the extent that it allows you to remove and act contrary to all normal social obligations to those individuals. We not only allow “them” to suffer and die in a way we would never countenance for the in-group; they *must* suffer and die as a moral lesson to the others. Ultimately it all comes down to greed. It is all propaganda to allow the in-group to hoard their unearned wealth and power.
