Rising use of custodians minimizing chain usage.
At the current rate transactions can become very expensive quite quickly. We have seen this several times in the last year. Especially people from lower income countries struggle quickly. But even in the US and Europe DCA and bad UTXO Management caused painful transaction costs. I truly do not believe the solution is either black or white. We need a vast space of different options addressing different audiences and their needs. What makes bitcoin special is that you get to choose which one you want to use.

I'd agree on an average over the next 3 years but I think the next 6 months might be tough for the average guy if we spike anything like past cycles. Between inscription stuff and new people taking possession of UTXOs we could get spicy again in the short term. I'm very questionable if on-chain can be usable for average user in next cycle buildup without substantial fees.
