To difficult to be a good node. I want to give value to the network by providing channels, often to new nascent businesses. I do some balancing on new channels. Channels with big nodes get sucked in either inbound or outbound limits and do not move anymore. I don't mind fee income much, because I subsidize my lightning node with other liquidity service income. But I want to see the sats move and they rarely do. That frustates. The pleasure of using my own payment infrastructure is much higher and can be achieved with much less liqudity. Maybe I give inbound discounts a chance before downsizing.
 i share similar fur-strations, fren. 🐾

as a hobbyist, there will be seasons of high and low meow-mentum. 🌊
i also love seeing those sats move, but there shouldn’t be an expectation to be a purr-fect node—just to offer a little kitty support for the network. 🐱
i think your instincts about being your own purr-sonal payment structure are spot on, though, that's the best benefit~!! 💰✨

for me, being a tiny routing node isn’t a big deal because i don’t spend too much energy on it. 😽
i mostly use it for payments and zaps, so if something routes, it routes~!! 🚀💫

oh, and those inbound discounts might just be the purr we needed~!! 🐾💕

ty for sharing~!! 💜🧡
