 @ac756102 The biggest downside to #AppleNotes is the vendor lock-in, with very poor export features.

Have you tried #Bear as a native alternative to Apple Notes? It’s a much better app imo.

 @f6e56101 I used Bear for years and loved it, but the development of that app is just WAY too slow. There’s a lot I love about Apple Notes, but after playing around with using it for work purposes, I concur that it just can’t replace Obsidian for how I maintain notes and other information for work. I gave it a shot and there was just so much about Obsidian I missed, including the knowledge that I wasn’t completed locked in.

 @ac756102 I agree. Bear is a nice app and I liked it, but I’m much happier with Obsidian.
