An app kinda like yelp but lets users report what food options the restaurant has that are free of seed oils. For example, most burgers are cooked without seed oils on the grill but the habit soaks their patties in seed oils before they are shipped to the store. Info like that would make things easier when picking out a restaurant to eat at for carnivores.
Already exist. Localfats.com
That website sucks and has no data
Define no data, lol
All it shows in my area is Miguel’s. I’m asking for an app that gives you a list of options from every restaurant without seed oils. You can go to five guys and eat their burgers without fries and sauce for example. But that’s not listed on local fats so it’s not useful. You can go to BJs and ask for a steak without it being cooked in oil. That option isn’t on local fats.
Actually, you asked for an app that lets users report and this website is that. It doesn't have those info yet is because no users have reported yet.
Local fats lets users add restaurants that are seed oil free. I’m asking for an app that lets users add seed oil free food options at all restaurants.
Ohhhhhh Hmm...I have seen under certain restaurants' listings, people said such and such are cooked in good fat, on their website. It's a good idea but might be hard to do and become a bit tedious. Most burger patties are cooked in its own grease/no oils used. But they're not necessarily sold alone as patties. Also, the user input can be inaccurate. All that said, it'd be a nice app and an useful one.
Yeah i agree. I think the best way to mitigate the inaccuracy is to have like a rating system where other users verify those things. I thought about paying someone to build it but decided to just stack sats instead 😂
