Doesn’t hold value?

In what world does real estate in general not hold value? 

 My parents bought apartment in Kyiv 2014 year for $55k now it’s $40k 

 Yeah, but that same property in a decade will be 400k once the war is over. 

 In decade this 💩 fiat 400k will buy you nothing
