While I love the parent show, I think I like Shoresy more. You learn the background and motivation of #69 a bit more it has an *arc* to it. I find Keeso and Tierny's writing is better when there are concrete story arcs in play - a Tanis scheme, katy's loser American BF, the whole Marie-Fred/Waynes love life thing. Dunno, just seems that while there continue to be nuggets, the later seasons are... meandering a bit.
@b716c299 I started out watching clips on YouTube. I’m technically only on S1E3 on Letterkenny and same on Shoresy, so my knowledge is limited. I have so far, just found the storylines in Shoresy a bit boring and chirping goes on a little too long without much being said.
@30700d9a S1E3 - ew... Fartbook. Don't give up - give it till at least the end of S1 if not S2 before bailing. Fartbook is probably the weakest episode of the whole show.
@b716c299 I must still be feverish. I just went and looked. I’m actually on S2E4 on Letterkenny and S1E5 on Shoresy. So, I’ve seen more than i said.
@b716c299 It’s possible I like the concept of the show more than I like the execution even. That’s not unusual for me. I like the conceit, but eventually don’t care about the plot lines. I’m enjoying it though. I duck in and out.
