There have been tons of “deaths of despair” through this whole thing that had nothing to do with the virus and everything to do with the overreaction. That’s rarely discussed.

It literally helped divide the US in an “ us versus them “ mentality. I know of families who no longer speak based off how the virus was manipulated into dividing them based off their initial reactions … The stress there. Then add into politics etc. How many small businesses went out of business to find out millionaires were given money but they shut down your small business 👩💼 Well that got personal … 🤣

The COVID response nearly drove a rift between me and my family since the fearmongering got to them. It also drove me to seek parallel systems like #bitcoin and #nostr
I think we’re all on the same page here. The government response, including coercing people to get the bullshit vaccines, printing tons of money, closing businesses, spreading fear and anxiety, has hurt and killed tons of people. Bitcoin, freedom of speech/thought, independent journalism, honest debate are all part of the solution.
I need to correlate when I went online and then off again. Not seeing the bulk spread of misinformation being put out definitely is a large part of my … yes, ignorance to some things. That’s fair. Knowing what I know about brainwashing is a direct reason I did stay offline. Possibly, that’s why I was invited here so quickly after I did eventually come back online.
