I lieu of his sudden passing, Biden was allowed by the Democratic party to be too proud to step down because of his legacy. They can't force him not to run, but they can allow him to have a go and show the public himself that he is not fit for the job. IMO Someone with high energy and power who's a real contenter is likely to take his place at the last minute (ie soon). This way he doesn't get defeated, he just couldn't compete etc, keeps his legacy as the standing president, allows him to save face, and will deploy the art of surprise as it will throw off the competition (they expected Biden).

This was not an accident. He has just proven to the world he cannot serve. He can barely walk and talk. TBF, it seems he is still mentally sharp for his age, but his cognitive motor functions are clearly failing him. I think he knows what he wants to say, it's just nobody else does because his body is failing him.

It’s simple: Democrats are intentionally destroying democracy. They all knew Biden was infirm. But they waited till after the primary to acknowledge someone would need to succeed him. They waited till the people no longer had any say in who the Party would nominate. In other words, they waited till there wasn’t any shred of democracy involved in picking the leader of the Democrat Party. What they want instead is a one-party state like California, where “elections” are held but a Party member always wins. They want intra-party selection, not competitive multiparty election. This is why Democrats seek to jail the opposition — so they can run without opposition. And this is also why they seek to control the Internet — so that the Internet doesn’t threaten their control. All the Party really wants is to steal money and give it to their loyalists. That’s what the millions in student loans and billions for nonfunctional trains and trillions in printed bills are all about — the greatest robbery in history. I think they wanted to let it play and see if the press could continue to ignore/conceal his dementia from people that already don’t want to accept the truth. Another four years of unelected anons in the Oval Office. But cherry picking an unvetted replacement at the convention is a nice soft landing. The DMC’s media propaganda arm will lap this up. It won’t be Newsome or Kamala. Look for Michelle O or some other replacement with no track record.
