@99b9ed46 @0e241662 Hold on a minute Edinburgh is generally dry, like not dry like you lunatics who all live uncomfortably close to the equator have it, but dry. The Netherlands is practically on the surface of the sun, never mind Spain 😂
Edinburgh is a cracker in Sept/Oct. Still a bit of light, if you get a dry spell, it’s bone-chillingly cold but it’s a proper riot of autumn leaves and sandstone. And there’s nothing like taking the scarf off as you get into some of the bars.
@99b9ed46 @0e241662 Also, maybe do the festival once? Maybe. This is probably local syndrome kicking in but it’s just unpleasant in the city in Aug. Lots of arts always on, so you’re not missing culture if you come at another point. Your just getting more space to look at the pretty things, and paying normal prices for things rather than the Aug premium.
Now, enough nice said about the City of Edinburgh, as a former blow in Leither it’s a bunch of wankers up on a hill. 😂
@e6fcc562 @99b9ed46 O___O
@0e241662 @99b9ed46 I think what I’m saying is if you go to Edinburgh, go and see Leith before the Buy-to-Let Landlord Wankers Class rip the heart out of it anymore. Well worth a walk around the back streets and lanes. Lots of under appreciated architectural quirks of it being an interesting port and a former Burgh in its own right. And getting a beer in Malt and Hops on the Shore is a fine, fine way to pass some time 😂
@e6fcc562 @99b9ed46 Noted.
Thanks sir!
@0e241662 if you do end up across let me know and I’ll send you a few bit to do an see. It is an amazing place, loath as I am to admit it (and live in it 😂). @99b9ed46 you too so long as it’s not bloody festival time 🤣
