 It’s up there with the one nijiura maid that got turned into a VR chat avatar. No longer something from obscure internet culture, just known as something else I’d thought of at all.

 It’s funny that dead internet theory gets pushed so hard when in reality it’s because people just use the same few sites. Outside of facebook, x, youtube, instagram and tiktok do people who aren’t internet knowledgeable for the most part use anything else? AWS is big for a reason, like everything else internet related.

 I hate the term normies and people who whine about them, but they’re the majority and make up the majority of internet users now. They’re why everything changes. Why have a forum for niche interests when you can just use facebook and reddit and join a group or subreddit? Why brows an internet store when you can browse amazon or ebay? why do any of that when you can do something easier and convenient? Same thing with old internet subculture. Why bother remembering when whang will make a video on it if it’s noteworthy enough for him?
