I hate the term normies and people who whine about them, but they’re the majority and make up the majority of internet users now. They’re why everything changes. Why have a forum for niche interests when you can just use facebook and reddit and join a group or subreddit? Why brows an internet store when you can browse amazon or ebay? why do any of that when you can do something easier and convenient? Same thing with old internet subculture. Why bother remembering when whang will make a video on it if it’s noteworthy enough for him?
