Used my brother's computer, running windows and chrome with no ad blocker

I can't believe people live like this
Some people use phones with cracked screens or screen protectors. I don't know how they do it.
experiment not being super rich one day, this is a different matter

Thanks to Pi-hole (primary DNS server for privacy) and AdGuard (secondary and tertiary DNS servers for protection when pihole is down) my network is so much faster than people without network level blocking.

If you can’t run pihole just plug the AdGuard DNS servers into your Wi-Fi configuration. The family servers also block adult content for family friendly internet access.
I like the AdGuard home solution better, it's like Pihole but with integrated DoH, with this you also prevent your isp from snooping on your dns queries.
you guys might also consider pihole + unbound.
Great contribution, thank you very much, I didn't know about it.

 Lmfao. Painful huh.
Imagine all the people tangled up in 365, edge, outlook…. They’ve created so many ways to bill you it’s crazy. And, the shits garbage, insecure and unreliable…
 It’s crazy town out there!
No wonder everything will turned to chaos one day 💣
Me every time an ad pops on someone else's YouTube: Wow, this is how you watch videos? I forgot there are ads in here too.
did you install an ad blocker?
Installed brave but he refuses to use it himself
you don't know about ublock origin? it works on chrome
he would have to if you had deleted chrome
I am not even kidding. why only third party malware is allowed to modify his computer but you are not?
It's true I should have, I do know best for him
Time to introduce him to pi-hole [1] so he can block ads across all devices on the network. You can run it in Docker on any device; doesn’t have to be a R-Pi.

As for the windows… hopefully he’ll pick up Linux.

I now ... right? But people never want to be wrong, so they refuse any suggestions you offer.

It's probably better to use Marxist tactics on them, and guide their thoughts so they think the thought themselves. If they think the thought and discover adblock without you telling then, they will become an adblock activist because it was "their" thought, not yours, and people never want to be wrong.

I've been ad free since 2000-ish, back when the Adblock add-on for Firefox came out.
some people in computer science don't know what an ad blocker is
