Oddbean new post about login | logout I used to accept it with shock and feel really good for the rest of the day. Then Damus got borked, and now I get zaps sent but have no idea where they even are… But I can send them alright, so that’s nice.

No, Damus is great! But Apple forbid them to allow Zaps, so there was a 3rd party web-app workaround…and I got it setup so I can send Zaps, but it was complicated, and I’ve since forgotten the details of how I set it up and why I don’t receive any Zaps. Just an issue for iDevice users.

I zapped back, do me a favor an let me know that you got it. 10 sats, the set amount for how I setup Alby. Just want to know that others are getting my zaps. I still haven’t figured out where zaps coming to me are actually going. It was all so easy before Apple sanctioned us.

Yes, with Damus getting ‘borked’ by Apple, the work-around involved a third-party web-service…which I setup but didn’t really learn about. the result is I can send zaps, but I’ve never received any to a personal wallet. It’s honestly something I need to look into, just haven’t dedicated the time.
