Yeah it does, just wondered if there was a way to bypass? Mainly just so I keep the single chat page from my server. The ZapStream chat always looked dead even though I’d have lively chat from Fedi. Maybe I should reroute from ZapStream again though, it’s like missing out on free promo!
for the chat, i doubt it will be possible to bridge them easily. I get the feeling that if you find the HLs stream of your server, you will be automatically routing it to zap.stream via your own... I'm sure there is a way to do all this without zap.stream, but so far i haven't found any ready made tools. I fear it might involve running a node and crafting a post with some cli magick. But we'll get to the bottom of this!
