I can't attend, but I would bring up two problems I see often which could be discussed. 1. happens whenever I open a nest with one of them in the hopes of sharing the link and inviting others in, before we do someone’s presence is always removed sometimes it’s me sometimes it’s one of them, and then you refresh, come back in and couple seconds later it happens again someone’s presence leaves n they’re left speaking to themselves.. And like not even for everyone either. Whenever I got on a best with @𝕾𝖊𝖗 𝕾𝖑𝖊𝖊𝖕𝖞 it worked fine. I could hear him. He could hear me. I could hear everyone. If @NEW1 was on a best with me it didn't matter who was the host or what. As soon as I start speaking I can't hear anyone else. I refresh. People hear me then I drop and come back even when not refreshing. Every issue possible happens to me and the entire time. I could be on a best with sleepy for hours fine. And on with new1 only to quit out of frustration within 45 mins it so is troubleshooting.

The bigger issues: - Nostr login wasn't working - When people joined, their mics and video were automatically turned on - Lots of confusion about how to turn sounds off Other than that, I don't particularly love the app. There's lots of visual cruft (tons of icons that aren't clear, floating windows, controls that reduce information density in chat). Opinionated and minimal design is way better than having all the bells and whistles for good UX. A video chat clone that works with nostr is awesome, and much needed, but is also a different use case from something like nests. I think nests has it perfect (in particular having people on stage vs in the audience), except it would be nice to have a "presenter" who can share his video or screen. you assume video is a good thing without any proof even if it was, there are always tradeoffs, from complexity of implementation to bandwidth requirements and perhaps even cultural effects (different kinds of people tend to prefer video over audio and vice-versa, and the same people behave differently in different media)

Thanks @hodlbod for the feedback, I really wasn't expecting that many people to be using it at all this morning!??? The nostr-login module appears to be having issues fetching user data, will have look into it. It probably would have been better if the login process was not a nostrband nostr-login module dependency but i squeezed this out in record time to get it ready for btcprague since @benarc wanted it out there. any node.js folks who wanna help i could use it to make this better as I am not a full time dev cc: npub1xdtducdnjerex88gkg2qk2atsdlqsyxqaag4h05jmcpyspqt30wscmntxy
