Primal is a social app that runs on the #Nostr protocol. Nostr is more like a “Social Internet”. The social network is a big part of it but unlike most “social networks” where you have one central entity like “facebook” or “xitter” your social network goes with you rather than you having to go to the social network. There isn’t one place or one platform or one type or app, there are many different and unique ways (apps, sites and platforms) for you to experience your carefully curated social network. It might take a bit of time to curate but the end result and payoff is potentially creating an environment that is conducive to your creative growth and really your growth as a person. We become what we surround ourselves with. Surround yourself with what inspires you.
Do you know of a guide for curating ?
Good question? I don’t I’m think I do. Maybe I should write on. When you first start on Nostr you may want to connect to good relays with like minded people if possible, but right now nostr is mostly (mostly) like minded people, but find 5-10 relays you like of people you like use. Then flow as many people as you can to get a big busy feed (snort.social allows you to follow other people’s follow lists on mass) then it’s time to filter out the noise. I’ve made a tool that will find inactive user you may be following and unfollow them, use this to get rid of inactive follows you may have gather while mass following other user follows. From there you (over time) unfollow and clean up your follow list compressing it down to your fav users and content.
I'm sorry for all the typos here a more clear version: Good question! I don’t think I do. Right now, Nostr is mostly (mostly) like-minded people, so find 5-10 relays you like that are used by people you like. Then follow as many people as you can to get a big, busy feed (snort.social allows you to follow other people’s follow lists en masse). After that, it’s time to filter out the noise. I’ve made a tool that will find inactive users you may be following and unfollow them. Use this to get rid of inactive follows you may have gathered while mass following other users' follows. From there, you can (over time) unfollow and clean up your follow list, compressing it down to your favorite users and content.
