I need quit smoking.....is the only thing I struggle with ... Anyone with good ideas that might work?
Will power.
Yes, that's the way. But I think ATM I am lacking the strength at least in this matter. 🙌
any facial surgery
No, I want to quit because I want healthier lungs. I have allergies and is no good for me. But I am lacking the will. I made already 4 attempts and failed 4 months into it ...and what I notice is, the addiction becomes stronger after every failed rehab.
any surgery will give you scars if you don't properly recover, which includes not smoking. just the thought of a huge and thick scar in your face (for me, in the leg was enough tho) gonna provide you that will (tho for me it only lasted two months lol)
No surgery. The only time I quit smoking, was when I was pregnant and I did not smoke for 2y ... That would do, but iqs not in my plans having children.
Try a little brain reprogramming? There's a book called "the easy way to stop smoking". I know a few people it worked for. I tried it and quit for a while and then decided to try learning to code. Bad idea
My bad idea was always, just one....just one....yeah, right lol
There was a thread on this maybe a few weeks ago Bunch of us chimed in I’ll try to find it
I started cutting back on cigarettes a long time ago realizing I was using them as a reward for small achievements. I discovered I was overcompensating for stress, so for ten years, I smoked consequently only on weekends. This change shifted my rewards to enjoying exercise, ( for me impossible when smoking ) … Occasionally, I smoke 3 cigarettes a day, but those phases are brief and like 2weeks long. . I am clearly a stress smoker, this knowledge was important to reducing and for quitting long distances. I also know a friend who has smoked one cigarette every evening for 15 years. She said, it is one little thing she wants to give herself consciously.
Just do it and make a tabu larasa journal for the health benefits at the end of every day. You will definitely feel them ..after one week you taste the fine details of food better , after two weeks you’ll see how the skin benefits and later if you want to try more sports, your lungs don’t burn anymore and you feel like more oxygen in s running through your body. I start quitting with you. From today on I don’t even smoke here and there anymore. LFG !
I would stay away from NRT, vaping and anything that contains nicotine. The safest and most successful method is cold turkey. Usually withdrawal symptoms peek during the first three days. Once you get past that, most of the nicotine is out of your body and it's easier. Drinking lots of water and juice also helps with that.
