Yes they do. Fun fact. The outer flesh of the black walnut, mixed with water and poured on the ground will make earthworms come straight out of the ground. Great way to collect fish bait 😉 

 That's amazing! Some people boil the hulls and use it as a earth tone color dye. A tinchure of hulls is medicinal.
