It’s a great tension. 

We are so far from what it should look like we want none of it. 

Consent of the governed limited government is 99.999% smaller than it is today but it is still a good thing 

 Think about it, it's an illusion. Limited gov is imposible because there is always going to be a large % of the population that would like oppression and slavery, which require taxes. 

 Too bad for them. 

That’s why democracy is evil. 

Constitutional limited government properly enforced doesn’t allow for the wishes of the slave mind.
