Interesting, my guess was fungal activity but the near perfect circle threw me. It's about 6 feet in diameter. We have had quite a bit if rain of late so it makes sense.
(again chatgpt) it's because fungal mycelium typically grows outward from a central point in a circular pattern as it searches for nutrients

I use it for work all the time so it's a pinned tab and has become my go to over regular search engines. It's like a very well educated but somewhat naive and mischievous assistant 😄
