Making a choice takes you as close as possible of what you want,  because you are subjectively better of by making your choices. But you never get to what you want exactly otherwise you'd stop acting and you'd die pretty quickly.

Anyway in my case I was just saying that thinking short term and trading freedom for convenience while making choices is childish, from my subjective point of view
