You call it freedom not being able to make a criticism on this topic ???

Some people don't like the unpalatable other side of free speech: people saying things you don't like.
It makes you a better person
The “other side of free speech” isn’t disagreement or “unpalatable” content.

The other side of freedom is personal responsibility. And perhaps a splash of “Love thy neighbor”.
Not at all. Being critical of a complex (and polarizing) ideology is not what I have a problem with. Being critical is not the same as being hateful, or bigoted.

I am a believer in free speech; I’m also a believer in personal responsibility. My desire is to increase the net amount of compassion, and respectful engagement, and to reduce the amount of cruel/ignorant energy in a social space that I frequent.
Or perhaps I missed your point - I’m not sure whether you’re asking if my criticism was appropriate, or if the content I’m criticizing should exist because of freedom.

In either case…

Now your point is clearer, and I'm also curious about the meme... the other part is defining what is hate speech, which varies greatly depending on the person
I wrote “hateful content” rather than “hate speech” because the latter is a loaded phrase.

I’m only referring content where it’s a cruel or derogatory put-down, especially toward a person or group of people who already receive an outsized share of abuse, discrimination, and violence.

I believe in a person’s right to be an asshole, but it still makes them an asshole 🤝
 All is said
