Today, I read a detailed New York Times article, this article sparked extensive discussions, even within liberal circles. I sympathize with these people; some of them are my age. Simultaneously, I find myself questioning my stance on this entire issue especially when it comes to children. It seems that children are becoming victims of our collective ignorance and radical idealism. We really need a respectful and sincere discussion around this issue. https://i.imgur.com/Po4TcHA.jpg
Oh you don’t fuckin say?
People need to care a lot more about kids and what they need and what suits their best long term health than what fits their respective political narrative. Irrevocable health decisions of any kind for children who are too young to understand or consent should be an area everyone treads with the utmost caution and care.
Kids are impressionable. The whole movement is an organized attempt by the worst and most evil people on the face of the planet to curate a generation of individuals they desire. It’s sickening, and it has nothing to do with individual liberty, freedom, or choices.
i had my mind blown by a couple of female teachers explain this to me. they told me they actually encourage the children to explore identities and sexual preferences. i compared it to tattoos. i love art and symbolism but how many adults regret their tattoos as they age and mature and figure out their place in this world.
I don't regret any of my tattoos, even the stupid ones, but I was an adult when I got them.
that is the sifference my fren. an adult chopping their dick off is their perogative and i dont care. but children are not capable of handling peer/societal pressures.
Agreed. Children have not yet aquired the brain development that is necessary for freedom. It's one of the things I think Rothbard got wrong.
As an adult, do w/e dumb shit you wanna do. You are free to make stupid choices and show the world your a clown. But, don't pressure kids that it's ok and to join. I stand with Russia. LGBTQ activists should be designated as extremists.
One of the things I learned in the US Health Care system: you better ask a ton of questions because for every health situation there is always going to be a very, very easy and wrong solution.
Nailed it!
"Wrong" is a relative term. Profitable for Big Pharma is the goal.
Not necessarily. Pharma interferes for sure, but nurses and doctors either with little time or literally burning out is also a huge source of: "oh do you just want the pill? Sure, here is the pill."
"For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong." H. L. Mencken
You got a bunch of #pedophilic #psychopaths rubbing their #dicks, seeking to exploit innocent #children. It's that simple..💀😠
As a very liberal nonbinary person: I'm intentionally choosing names that are genderless. Keanu, for example. My children will be free to go as whatever they think fits them, and have the right to be referred to as whatever they want. Perhaps unfortunately for them, they will not be allowed any level of medical intervention until they're 24 or out of my house (because I won't be able to stop them). People hardly let 12-year-olds with PMDD take birth control to ease the excruciating pain, because chemical and hormonal treatments can be harsh on a child's physical and mental development. You're not fully mentally developed until 24/25, so until your brain stops growing, don't fuck with that shit.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I was fortunate enough to gain insight into the LGBTQ+ community through talks, work, and studies in college. It provided me with a valuable perspective. I must say, I have nothing but respect for parents conveying their beliefs to their children, beliefs they hold dear, while safeguarding their health.
Respectful discussion with these people? Not a chance! Don’t accept the premise. Reframe the argument and tell these people to GFY. Tell your kids the truth when they come home from school.
